The camera on this endoscope has a focal length of 1.5 to 3 inches. This means that it cannot be used for looking on top of a cupboard or underneath a kitchen sink etc. The image will be too blurry. It is actually designed to work in an enclosed pipe where the object in view is no more than 1.5 to 3 inches away.
