Didn’t know a potato ricer could make such as huge difference to my mash! It made the mash light, fluffy and more voluminous. It also removed the strings that you find in potatoes sometimes (didn’t pass through the holes). I’ve seen some reviews that say the device is a bit small but I found it could take quite a few pieces at a time and it took 3 goes to do a big pot of mash. The smaller size makes it easier to handle especially since I have smaller hands. A nice tip is to melt your butter and milk together before adding to the mash so you don’t have to stir too much and loose the volume the ricer created. I haven’t tried it with other vegetables as yet. The ricer washed up easily in the dishwasher but could have been hand-washed with the same ease. Received super fast delivery of this item as well!
